Hyungsun Kim received his degrees of B.Eng., M.Eng. from Department of Metallurgical Eng., Seoul National University, Korea. After completing his Ph.D. at Department of Materials, Imperial College London (1989) he worked at University of Oxford, UK and Sunchon National University, Korea. Since 2004, he has been working at Inha University as a Professor. Regarding researches, Professor Kim has worked mainly on Design of frit compositions for electronic devices: Design of Ag electrode in solar cells; Design of glass encapsulant for high light extraction efficiency LED package; Powder-based glass 3D printing. He was a President of Materials Research Society of Korea (2012) and a President of Korean Society for Thermophysical Properties (2008-2011). Professor Kim is currently a President of Korean Council of Science Editors and Secretary-General of Council of Asian Science Editors.
